Mattias is one of the very few private chefs in the area who has worked his way up to the top by putting in years in restaurant kitchens around California and Europe, with 19 years as a restaurant chef, and 10+ years as a private chef cooking for clientele from all walks of life.

You will always have Mattias as your chef, there will never be a substitute chef so make sure you get your date before it is gone as there is very limited availability.

The food is the best of what is available for the time of the year and you can look forward to flavors honed over the years that are now unique to Mattias and his cooking.

Mattias is Swedish-born and bred, living in Santa Barbara CA since 1991, he is very much Influenced by two amazing cooks in his mother and grandmother.

First apprentice job at a German restaurant in Sweden at age 12, first kitchen job at age 15, first came to the US at age 17, Swedish military service at age 19, first US kitchen job at age 21.
