Getting started is simple, please each out through the contact page and I will respond within 24 hrs with a quote and all the information that you need to evaluate if you would like to move forward. Once ready simply let me know, and I will send you the options for reserving.

I offer a sliding scale pricing based on guest count, a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
The final pricing will be based on the final guest count and will not change after 6 days prior to your dinner.
Cancelations
You will receive a full refund no questions asked anytime up until 7 days before your dinner.

The set-up is as simple as can be!
You will have a fully set table with my large collection of dinner plating and decor available for all dinners.Once you pay the deposit you will receive a 6 question check list that covers everything needed for me to set you up.
I’ll bring all necessary cookware and only ask for kitchen counters and a working oven stove range.
Your kitchen will always be clean at the end of the evening with all clean-up finished before I leave.
About
Mattias is one of the very few private chefs in the area who has worked his way up by putting in years in restaurant kitchens around California and Europe, with 18 years as a restaurant chef, and 12 years as a private chef cooking for clientele from all walks of life.
You will be treated to seasonal California rustic food with the best of what is available for the time of the year. Authentic and robust flavors, honed over years in professional kitchens.
Mattias is Swedish-born and bred - living in Santa Barbara CA since 1991, He is very much Influenced by two amazing cooks in his mother and grandmother who would put us all to shame if they had been cooking professionally.
Mattias's first restaurant experience was an apprentice job at a German restaurant in Sweden at age 12, and his first kitchen job at age 15, first came to the US at age 17, Swedish military service at age 19, and first US kitchen job at age 21.
Inspired by Scandinavian - Japanese cooking, clean design, music, woodworking, and, architecture.
You will always have Mattias as your chef, there will never be a substitute chef so make sure you get your date before it is gone as there is very limited availability

You will be treated to my style of cooking which has been developed over 18 years in restaurant kitchens and 10 years as a private chef.
I offer a restaurant-style menu selection based on almost 3 decades of honing flavors and techniques at the finest restaurant kitchens in California and Europe.
If you are staying at a rental there is a good chance that I have cooked at that house as I have worked at hundreds of rentals over the past decade plus.
I am fully insured and have a 100% positive feedback from hosts and clients for a decade running.

What I bring
I have an extensive collection of plate ware that I will select from for each of your courses, along with several other items for a beautiful table set-up.
You will have a fully set table with the following

I also bring all cookware and anything I need to get set up in your kitchen, all I need is counter space (as much as possible) and a cooking range.
